Rule 1. GOVERNING BODY – The team captains shall be the governing body authorized to revise and/or establish Rules and Regulations for the league.
Rule 2 TEAM ROSTER – Each team is limited to a maximum of Ten (10) players on its roster at any time. Deadline for completion of a team roster is 12/31/07. Only 1 transfer with approval of affected Team Captains. A transferred player can only play on the next non-positional round. After the deadline, all Team Captains must approve any replacements. Floating subs are allowed. Restriction: subs are not allowed to play against original team.
Rule 3. SCHEDULE OF GAMES – There will be 20* three game series every other Sunday starting 09/09/07 unless otherwise stated. Position round shall be played every third meeting.
Rule 4. FEES – Team captain is responsible for full payment of fees to the league regardless if a member(s) is present or not. He/She may later collect fees from his/her absent member(s). Arrears must be paid the following week of bowling.
· Fee for three games is $ 23.00 per person. 50/50 tickets will be sold every week, each team will rotate the responsibility of selling tickets. Earnings will ensure 1st place prize of $2,300.
· Default fee – A team must pay in full any fee incurred by the team before the start of games the following week. A team that fails to show up during a regular game is considered in default.
· Entry fee of $100 per team payable on or before the 1st position round. Entry fee refundable at the end of season if a team incurred no arrears.
Rule 5. PRIZES – Each participating team shall receive cash prize. All Teams and Individuals are entitled to 1 award available (Scratch or Handicap). A bowler must bowl at least 30 games to be entitled to any individual award. Prize list shall be distributed to Team Captains on or before 12/31/07.
Rule 6. ENTERING AVERAGE – Shall be limited to the following:
a). Previous player – last year’s (2006-2007) average based on 21 games or more.
b). New player – from other league average or ABC book, based on 21 games or more. If playing in more than 1 league, the highest average reported will be used.
c). New player W/O Average – Starting for women = 130, Men = 160. New average determined after 1st 3 games.
d). There shall be a “cellar limit” on player’s average. 10 points (max) on players with entering average, new player’s average after three games.
Rule 7. BLIND SCORE – Absentee or vacancy shall use a blind score of minus 10 pins. Average of absent player with most number of games played shall be used. High average will be use if the number of games is the same.
Rule 8. LEGAL LINEUP – Minimum of three- (3) player is required. A member of the opposite sex is required for the five (5) players per game.
Rule 9. GAME FORFEITURE – When a minimum line-up is not present at the end of the 1st frame of any game in a series, the game shall be forfeited.
When a team is bowling in a known forfeit situation, the following procedures shall apply.
(a). The forfeiting team is not to receive any point(s).
(b). Players on the forfeiting team who are present shall be allowed to play.
(c). The playing team will earn all the point(s).
Rule 10. TARDY PLAYER – A bowler who arrives late may enter the game provided three frames have not been completed. A frame shall be considered completed when the bowler in the anchor position on each team has thrown his/her last ball of the frame. After three frames a bowler is already classified as blind. Frame(s) missed may not be made up; a score of 9 shall be used for each frame missed. All games start after completion of practice games.
Rule 11. FOUL LIGHT – Unless otherwise proven that there is a malfunction, a lit foul light shall be an automatic foul. However, it is not considered a foul if the ball was not released at the time of the infraction.
Rule 12. POSITION STANDING – Point basis for each team win during the regular game is equivalent to 2 points plus 2 point for the team with higher three-game series (wood), for a total of 8 points.
During any position round, the point basis for each team is 3 per game and 3 for the wood, for a total of 12 points.
Rule 13. INDIVIDUAL HANDICAP – Basis for handicapping will be 90% of difference from an average score of 220.
Example: Individual average = 160
Team Handicap will be sum of individual player handicap per game.
Rule 14. UNFAIR TACTICS – Penalty for an individual engaging in improper tactics or conduct in connection with the game of bowling, including, but not limited to, physical and verbal abuse toward other persons - Warning on 1st offense, 2nd offense -forfeiture of game by the individual, blind score will be used. All team captains or representative will meet to determine any violations. A ¾ vote will be required to impose a sanction.
Rule 15. POSTPONEMENT – All postponement shall be requested prior to scheduled game. Postponement shall only be granted for sufficient reasons, may include but not limited to extreme emergency. VACATION is not included for it’s known in advance. Postponed games must be played before the next regular game otherwise it is declared a forfeit. The computer printout of the games played should be submitted for record keeping. An officer of the league would be present to oversee the games played. On a postponement, the team requesting for a postponement automatically loses two (2) points. No postponement allowed on a position round. All makeup games shall be held on a week day.
Rule 16. GAME REQUIREMENTS – refer to table below for the game requirements for scheduled position rounds for new players. Exempted from this rule are all returning old players with at least 21 games from previous year.

Rule 17. The salaries of the Secretary, Treasurer and Coordinator shall be $150, $100, and $100 respectively.
Rule 18. On any thrown ball, Opposing captains will settle all disputes; otherwise computer score will prevail unless proven that there is a malfunction.
Rule 19. Prize awards for consecutive strikes.

Ex. If a player had already thrown 5,6,7 strikes for men or 4,5 strikes for women previously. The player must throw a strike count higher to get to a higher prize.
Rule 20. Any bowler who throws a 300 game will receive a $200 cash award from the league.
Rule 21. Anything not covered by the rules above is subject to USBC rules and regulations.
